    Hi Everyone

As the term and year come to an end, I’d like to thank you for your patronage and commitment to Pilates. Teaching you, gives me the opportunity to deepen my understanding of the mind/body connection, bringing inspiration to my own practice.
I am grateful for the wonderful opportunities I have had this year to take classes with Lesley Power at Movements Afoot in New York, and with Tania Huddart of Hearts and Bones in Wellington, both inspirational teachers with a wealth of knowledge.

    Hi Everyone
The year is just flying by, and Spring is doing the wild thing. I saw my first ducklings of the season
on the Matai River last week while out walking my dog, always a lovely sight to behold.
Another lovely sight to behold is the great progress I am observing in class. You may not always
notice it yourself, but it is very obvious to me as a teacher that the small steps forward add up in the
end. You are reaping the benefits of Pilates, and are able to apply these benefits to your daily life and
other pursuits. More power to you!

    Newsletter June 2010

    Hi Everyone
The term is coming to an end and I’d like to commend the many students I have who are committed to their practice. Improvements are usually subtle changes that add control and precision to your Pilates and may even go unnoticed by you but add to the bigger picture that I see.
Pilates is a proven system and I’d like to encourage you to keep the principles of Pilates in mind, they are control, centering, concentration, precision, breath and flow of movement. When added to your regular practice they serve to extend the exercise and challenge the body and mind.
